About the event
Drop the Mic! is The Song School's FREE monthly open mic for young musicians. They welcome Singer/Songwriters, Musicians, Vocal Artists, Rappers, Bands and other music enthusiasts from Southend and the surrounding area’s to get involved and join the community.
At this Jazz Festival Special, they will be extending an special invite to those young musicians with a interest in the jazz-end of the music spectrum. They will also be working with their own students who wish to develop some jazzier content to showcase at the event.
All young artists are welcome, you do not need to be a Song School student.
Events include the opportunity to take part in an open mic, meet others who share an interest in music and to meet music artists to pick up hints and tips about working in music.
