His songs were performed by artists as varied as the Rolling Stones, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, the Doors, Sonny Boy Williamson, the Grateful Dead, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Elvis Presley, and Chuck Berry.Â
