Featuring legendary guitarist Jim Mullen, Mighty Like The Blues explore the deeplegacy of the blues with passion and intensity. Mighty Like the Blues are a band of five award winning jazz soloists brought together by a deep and powerful commitment to the blues in all its forms.
The group features world-class guitarist Jim Mullen, who's 'endlessly attractive' playing (The Guardian) has seen him collaborate with legendary acts including Average White Band, Terry Callier and Jimmy Smith amongst many others. Expect to hear blues of all styles and in all forms, from the low-down gut-bucket to the sophisticated blue-ballad, all played with the group's trademark heart-felt intensity.
