Tubby Hayes: A Man in a Hurry
A celebrated 2015 documentary charting the life of British jazz prodigy Edward Brian "Tubby" Hayes. Narrated by actor Martin Freeman, the film celebrates the legendary tenor saxophonist, flautist, and vibraphonist prominent in the 1950s and 60s London jazz scene before his premature death in 1973. The documentary features rare performance footage and exclusive interviews, including with Hayes’ biographer Simon Spillett.
